2009 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V

Tech stuff: 1151cc, 112 Hp, 216 Kg, stock pistons, heads fully ported and flowed. F1 camshafts, two-in-one QD exhaust. F1 CDI. Ohlins FGRT forks and Ohlins S46 rear shock. Alpina tubeless wheels.

In 2009 we made this bike for a special customer of ours. It was the third Griso he was buying and wanted something really special. We took it apart immediately to modify the frame on headstock to shorten wheelbase, then sandblasted and powder coated all the parts. Meanwhile we had the chance to blueprint the engine and carry out a mild preparation.

We adapted a pair of new Ohlins FGRT forks with a Ducati top yoke combined with a custom bottom yoke. Ohlins rear shock is a stock Aprilia part which we modified for its new commitment.

We made a custom seat and a special alloy cowling to fit perfectly into the original rear bodywork. We got rid of the side alloy frames and made a pair of special rearsets with their brackets. Carbon fibre on front fender, exhaust cover and instrument cover.

Fully adjustable TRD clip-ons and twin lights give it the aggressive looks.
